The new speed signs on the Tynron Glen road. Timber lorries are now required to travel at 20mph along this road.

We very much hope that you will be able to come to this Open Meeting about setting up the Development Trust for using windfarm money in Keir, Penpont and Tynron.

The findings of the community consultation report will be discussed, and we will be looking for all your ideas as to how to implement the projects, starting with the setting up of a Development Trust.

CLASSIC SUMMER MUSIC SUNDAY

Following the community consultation and the production of an action plan, there will be a meeting at 7:30pm in the Gladstone Hall, Penpont, to discuss the action plan and the setting up of a Development Trust for the three communities (Keir, Penpont and Tynron).

Nearly two years ago we did a mini-survey of the three communities asking (among other things) who would be interested in joining the Development Trust. A really encouraging number of you expressed an interest. We do hope you are still interested. Things should go much faster from now on!

So please come to the meeting. Before that you will visited and given a copy of the Action Plan and a flier about the meeting.
