Despite the -4 temperature a well wrapped up crowd of villagers gathered at Tynron Parish Hall to see the Christmas tree lights switched on and sing some traditional carols. After the carols we moved into the warmth of the hall and enjoyed some very potent mulled wine and delicious mince pies and shortbread.
